More pics... :~)

I'm feeling a little blah right now... Again! :~p The tropical storm is giving me a headache and I found out the other day that we aren't going to get any kind of rainfall from it! :~O We need rain too.

I got some itch stuff, cause I now know the joy of having a lot of fire ant bites. I got them while helping pull weeds over at the church building... I didn't have gloves, I don't really like them, you can't seem to get the weeds out as well. Now I'll wear them! :~}

Jamey's cousin Seth is coming over this Thursday and probably staying till the weekend... We are also going to have Monday football at our house tomorrow, so I have to tidy up the place a bit. :~} Well, since I have that I might not get on here for a few days...

So here are more pics of little Xander to show off! :~) I tried to talk to my Mommy tonight but they went down to Rising Sun, IN to see him! :~) I wish I could go... My time will come! ;~)

Yep, they're home from the hospital and my sister sent these...

Introducing... My nephew Xander Scott!

I got the call this morning that my sister was in the hospital enjoying the calming effect of an epidural! :~) She started early labor Tuesday night and made it till early this morning with little to no medication. However, they started her on pitocin which drastically increased her labor pains so the epidural was a necessity.

I'm not sure on the time he arrived, but it was sometime in the early afternoon. He weighed 7lb. 2oz., and is 21 in.! A long little guy! :~) My sister thought that he'd weigh more than that, but I'm glad that he didn't... It might have been harder to have him. Anyway, he has dark blue eyes, and from what I'm told he's got some big eyes! :~) He has some light brown hair... Although, Danny's family has some blondes that started off with darker hair and we have some toe heads in our family. I have to say, if he has straight hair that will look just a little odd with his parents both having very curly hair! :~) My sister said that he wasn't very interested in crying, just wanted to look around. :~) I'm soooooo excited!!! :~)

Waiting for the pictures of the little guy will be almost as hard as waiting for him to arrive! :~) As you can guess I'm going to be a very gushing Aunt. I'll be just a little sorry for Xander when I get to be around him, cause his Aunt Priscilla will spoil him! :~)

I don't know why it did this, but the date is wrong on the Pictures... blog post. It's supposed to be the same day as this one! :~}

Pictures...

I know it's been a while since I posted... My reason for not posting is not a very good excuse no matter when it is used, I just had the blahs. I haven't felt like doing much lately and the fact that we had company this past weekend didn't help... Just gave me an excuse to postpone writing. Anyway, I still don't have all the blahs gone... So I'll leave you with some pictures that I've taken over the last month.

This is Munchkin being cute and sitting on the window sill in the living room. She fell off once and hurt herself, not bad, but she still likes going up there.

This is one of the baskets that I had one of my friends at church make up for my sister's baby shower. The teddies and the blocks I made. Then we have the Graduation bucket also put together by my friend. She did such a good job! :~)

I made my new nephew a sling and a nursing blanket! :~) I'm so looking forward to seeing the little guy and I hope that he'll get a lot of use out of these.

Then there's the pics of my curly hair... I sponge rolled it and those sponge rollers get really, REALLY small. I hadn't done it in about 3 or 4 years so I had forgotten how much length it takes off. Needless to say, most people thought that I got my hair cut! :~) I wasn't a big fan of the do until later in the day when it relaxed a little.

We had a really good time with Sarah, Tabitha and Casey over the weekend. We went over to Jamey's Grandma's house for Friday and Saturday morning. We came back to SC Saturday afternoon and took in a few sites. After which we played a rousing game of Trivial Pursuit! :~) They stayed till after church Sunday night... It was really neat to have them here. Tabitha and Casey are going over to China to work, so they won't be able to be around here for a while. After they left it was weird... You know that whole let down after a great visit with family.

This weekend there is going to be a wedding... Jamey will do it and it will be his first wedding, so we're excited about that! :~)

Since I have a minute...

Yeah, I've been busy for the last week. I had to clean house... Something I hate to do anyway, but this time I had to really clean. It had been a while and it was getting scary. :~O I did, however, find out that Mr. Clean will clean almost anything! :~) I also found out that if I can't sleep cleaning is good to get me tired! :~}

Thursday I was invited to go to one of the ladies homes... She's my age. One other lady came too... She is just a few years older. Anyway, we had a blast! :~) We talked the entire night. Had pizza and pop... A volatile combination for me! ;~) I was out till midnight talking and having fun. This is how I found out cleaning helps when you can't sleep... I got home and kept thinking of things that I had to do yet so I got up and did them! :~) This is not normal behavior for me except that Jamey's friend and his girlfriend were coming over the next day!

I got up and started cleaning on Friday. Not my preferred way to start a morning, but I wasn't letting anyone see a dirty house! :~) I cleaned, showered and barely got done with that when they got here. We had a good time... We first went to get pizza at one of the buffets here in Greenville. Then we decided to walk around the mall! :~) I always love to that even if I don't get anything! There was a makeover going on, but we decided not to do that (we don't need no makeover, we're pretty enough... Right? ;~)) After that we went back to the house and talked for a while. We then went to show them Jamey's office and the Greenville park downtown. It was a nice day, except for the hot, so walking in the pretty downtown was nice. We ate dinner at a Subway close to the park... By the way, I recommend the Sweet onion chicken! :~P We then spent the rest of the night watching this one baseball player goof up! :~) The Greenville team lost, but it was a fun time, we also got to see some fireworks after! :~)

Right now I'm waiting for that barbecued chicken to get done for tomorrow. I'll just have to warm it up when we get back from church. Today has been busy too. I went with one of the ladies from church to pick out flowers and decorations for the bridal shower tomorrow at church. After that I had to arrange the flowers... I think I did a good job. I'll take pictures! :~) When I was done with that I had to make Ham puffs for the shower as well! :~) Now after these get done it's off to the shower and bed just to start the busy all over again! :~)

A Dedication...

Now, I might go and make some of you sick with this post... It is completely unintentional! :~) I just wanted to say how much I love, appreciate and admire my husband.

I'm not the easiest person to live with, just ask my family... The ones that had to do it before Jamey came along! :~) Today he brought me a dozen roses just to see me smile. Yesterday I was hormonal and emotional. Not mad at anything or anyone just mad at myself. He was tender and loving all the way through my tirade, just informing me of how much he loved me. Today he took me shopping. He doesn't really like shopping... Especially clothes shopping (my favorite pastime), but he did it anyway. :~)

He has been there for me and I don't know how I would make it without him. I know that technically we are still newlyweds as we haven't even gotten to our year and a half mark yet, but I have every intention of keeping this feeling - and having it grow - for him for the rest of my life. It isn't a long post... But if I kept going it wouldn't end. Jamey I love you, you are my life.
