Saturday was a relaxing day. I tried to do a little sewing... It didn't turn out that bad, but I do need to tweak it just a little. I absolutely love my sewing table! :~) It's big enough to have my ironing board on it too! I'm really going to like sewing on it in the future! Now on to Sunday...
I've been to about four concerts so far, but this one I've been waiting on for quite some time. My siblings went to a concert of his back in January or February in Fort Wayne. I couldn't attend because of conflicting schedules, like I had to work that night. Once I got home from work I talked to Jamey while waiting for my sibs to come home. They came back with tons of fascinating stories about how great the concert was and how nice they were. Well, I couldn't really say that until now!
After church we went out to eat, came home and changed for the ball game and concert after. We got there a little early but it was just enough time to get used to the burning chairs we had to sit in. We got shade for almost all the game, but unfortunately I somehow managed to get myself lobsterized. Oh how I love my fair skin! The ball game was actually good. I was impressed. The Redbirds won 6 to 3! I like to watch a game that has a lot of batting going on. Lots more entertaining than watching a pitcher's game. About halfway through the game they said you had to have wristbands to see the concert. Usually things that go on after the game are included with the game, not separate. So, Jamey went up to the ticket counter to see about getting wristbands. They wanted to charge us $20 more to see the concert, claiming it was on the website (which it wasn't). Not being one that takes things lying down, Jamey argued his way to free wristbands. They ended up downgrading our seats in order to get us wristbands, but we sat in the same ones. :~) The highlight of the game was seeing Larry the Cucumber and Bob the Tomato from VeggieTales sing Take me out to the ball game! :~)
After the game we went to stand by the stage where the concert was going to be. We were about 5 feet away from the stage, which is really neat. Not so neat though when there are hundreds of screaming teen girls around you. It took a good 20 minutes for the concert to get started, which seemed like an eternity when you're standing in close quarters to other people and it's over 90 degrees outside. I got used to sweating... Ewww However, when they did start it was definitely worth the wait. The Send was first. I had never heard of this band before, but I'll definitely see about getting their album now. Jamey was impressed too. They only sang 4 songs, then it was Hawk Nelson's turn. He came out and the vocal cords of all the girls in the audience turned to shriek mode. I can understand screaming cause you think they're hot but asking them to marry you? That's just a little over the edge. They ended up singing a number of songs which was very nice. I like this band and wanted to hear more than 4 from them. I can't say I'm a real fan of the hair that Hawk has, but it worked for him. He is a very good performer and had the crowd mesmerized. He was very good at getting the crowd to participate with him and at one point had someone come on stage to help him with the kazoo part of one song.
After the concert was over they hung around to sign stuff and take pictures. We were at the end of the line, but it didn't take very long to get to the guys. They were very nice and seemed to really enjoy interacting with the fans. I got to have my picture taken with Hawk Nelson and his drummer. That had to be the best Sunday afternoon ever!
We were beat after the concert but went to a dinner we were invited to earlier in the day. It was one of the preachers that invited us. We don't normally hang out with this particular preacher, but we had a good time even though we were exhausted. We came home and basically went right to bed! :~) Too much excitement for one day.
This coming Thursday we are going to have Jamey's parents over for dinner, so I'd better get things ready to be cleaned! :~p

Home movies and other stuff...
Here it is... My cell phone! :~)
I love it, I was able to be at the grocery store and call Jamey! :~) I know that this is common for those of you that have a cell phone... Which was the entire population of the world except me. Until now! Cell towers beware, or those of you that are on my contact list! :~) It has become my new best friend! Now for the rest of the happenings of this past week...
Tuesday was a day at home for us. John was supposed to come that night and sleep over but he didn't come, so we just hung out and did nothing... One of my favorite pastimes! :~)
Wednesday we went to church. John was there and he, Jason, Jamey and I all went to IHOP after service. Yes, I went to the International House Of Pancakes! I, however, did not get pancakes. In fact, none of us got pancakes. Jamey ordered chicken fried steak which ended up being chicken fried chicken! Oh well, he ate it. Our waitress was a little TOO happy to be working at IHOP at 8pm. It's nice to have someone that is cheerful, but if you're that happy about working that time of night... You have no life, trust me I know. Anyway, after the IHOP experience we all went to our apartment and just hung out for a while.
Thursday I got up and actually started to function. Usually I just sleepwalk through making Jamey's breakfast and lunch. I had to wake up... This is the day I get the car! I went to class as usual, then went to the store to get groceries. I've come to realize this, that Wal-mart is not always the cheapest place to get stuff. Also that I need a very large piece of paper to keep track of rising prices, cause they seem to change every minute. Why does it cost a dollar and a half for eggs? Did the chicken join a union? What about cows? Are they on some sort of milk strike? Why is beef so expensive? Do we have to pay the family of the cow that gives us hamburger? How much longer before I'll have to go to work just so we have enough money to be able to put food on the table? Uggg! Not to mention gas in the car. I had to get gas while I was out, too. Right now I'm wishing for the days when it was just a little over a dollar a gallon. I hate myself for thinking 2.68 is not that bad. To make all things in the world better I bought chocolate chips and when I got home made cookies. Yummy! :~p
After I picked Jamey up from work, we went to his parents house for dinner cause his aunt was there. We had a good time, his aunt is a very sweet lady. She is younger than my mother-in-law, but looks about 10 years older. And like me, looks almost nothing like her sister. Her and her husband had one of those personality quizzes. Jamey and I took it to find out if our personalities are compatible. Luckily, we are a good match. I hope so! :~) I don't know what we would have done if we found out we weren't a good match... Oh wait, we wouldn't have done anything! :~) It was fun though. Apparently Jamey and my personalities are not that common. Which, for my family, is good news. I also got some more silver ware and a pretty container from other aunts. It was really fun going and spending time with his family.
Today I'm posting a little later than usual. I spent some of the morning watching old home movies of Jamey's . Watching them reminded me of my old home movies... Ahhh the memories. I love to look back and see what I thought was cool at one point, but then when I think of former birthdays on camera I think of fast forwarding through endless minutes of chewing dinner. Some very funny scenes happened during supper, but for the most part they're very boring. Not to mention some are down right embarrassing! :~) Yeah, anyway... Time to put those gems of old memories back where they were.

My weekend! :- }
<--- This is exactly how I was feeling Friday and Saturday. Yes, I'm not proud of it but in nice terms I was difficult to live with those days... in not so nice terms... well, I'll just leave it there. Poor Jamey had to put up with it. He's so good at being the patient, loving husband when I'm being the not-so patient and loving wife. He knew I wasn't feeling very good Fri., so he brought me a dozen roses when he came home and cooked me a wonderful dinner. :~) Saturday, I knew this was coming, he spent the day reading the new Harry Potter book. For some reason I just didn't want to be a good girl... Hmm... I have to work on that just a bit! :~)
Anyway, on Friday after we ate that dinner Jamey prepared for me we watched Ratatouille. That was a cute movie and since I used to have a pet rat, I was a little critical going into it to see if they would make the rats look like rats. Well, they did a splendid job of it and I would definitely recommend that movie. :~) After that we went to Borders, it's like a Barnes & Noble, for the Harry Potter book. I haven't seen so many costumed people since the Superman festival! The book didn't come out till midnight, so we had a little bit of a wait. It wasn't too bad, since I can occupy myself at a bookstore rather easily. That's not saying I'm an avid reader, I just like browsing the books. :~) Jamey had on a wristband that put us in the second group of people to get the book... that was nice or else we would have been there all night! To say that there were a lot of people there would be like saying the Biblical flood got things a little wet! We finally got the book at about 1am and went home. Jamey stayed up a little while longer to read some of the book and I went to bed.
Saturday Jamey read the book. And read the book, and for a change of pace read the book some more. He finished a 759 page book in a day! It would take me at least two months to get that size book done if I was diligent about it! It would take me that long to read it cause when it comes to reading I have the attention span of a fruit fly. That and I can't read unless it's quiet. After he was done he wouldn't tell me how it ended. He said he didn't want to spoil it for me when I read it... He don't know me very well, do he! ;~) I'll just wait for the movie to come out. Because all good books have been made into movies.
Sunday I overslept! Not enough to miss church, just Sunday school. Oops! I thought I'll just get 5 more min. Unfortunately, those minutes turned into an hour! We got there a little late and had to sit in the back. We normally sit in the front. Sunday night the preacher said that we messed him up, cause we weren't in the right place. :~) After church Jamey and I went home, watched Live Free or Die Hard and took a nap. Ahhh... the perfect Sunday afternoon! :~) After night service, we went out to Dairy Queen with Jason. He got himself a teaching job in Mississippi. He'll be making more money and won't have to work so hard. John, the guy we stayed with in Nashville, will also be teaching there.
So far today I've managed to get my sorry hide out of bed and get a load of laundry done. I also got my regular lunch-time call from Jamey and he has our cell phones!! :~) I can't wait to get a hold of it and play with it! :~) John is coming Tuesday night and I have to get this place in some sort of shape before then, so I better get going!

Percy gets technology! : - O
Yes, I get technology in the form of a cell phone!! I won't get one till Monday, but just think I'll be able to communicate with anyone when I'm not home! Or, when I'm home, with anyone after 9pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends! :~) This will help especially when I have the car on Thurs. and Jamey needs to get a hold of me. I wonder if I can get a cute cover for it? Hmmm... :~)
This was kinda a boring week, Jamey and I just stayed home for most of it. Tues., after supper we went to a Cd store where you can get Cd's for a dollar. I found a Glenn Miller Cd and got that... If I could find a Frank Mills Cd I would jump on it, but so far no luck. Jamey said I should listen to Kenny G since I seem to like instrumental music!!! :~O I can't stand sax music. Jamey can't understand that I don't like sax music, but could listen to big band music all day! :~) What can I say, I'm a freak! :~)
Wed., we went to church. Jamey started teaching a kids class again. He had been teaching this class, but had gotten tired of it. Since it's a new quarter, there are other kids in the class along with the old ones. Jamey really likes teaching classes, but sometimes the kids can be a handful... :~)
Thursday I took Jamey to work and had the car all day. I'm getting better at driving in Memphis... I'm at least as good as the worst driver in the city. ;~) I went to class and I think since I'm the youngest that goes to that class they all act like my grandparents... well, not my grandparents, but grandparents in general.
I'm also getting better at shopping. I can get the things I need and leave the things that I want behind... I'm not saying that I will always be like this... ;~) I did however get an egg poacher at Wal-mart so breakfast will be easier. It was a bear trying to find that thing! I looked at kitchen stuff, but that would be too easy to put it there. I walked up and down those kitchen isles and found nothing. I went toward bathroom stuff and there they were! Hmm... what does an egg poacher have to do with bathroom stuff, if there is a connection I sure don't want to know about it! :~) One more thing I'm getting better at is putting gas in the car. Yep, I didn't stand there for two minutes trying to get gas out when I didn't punch the gas I wanted. Aren't you proud? You no longer have to hold you're head in shame or laugh whenever you think about me and getting gas... although you probably will laugh for a while about it anyway! :~)
I made chili and cornbread for supper yesterday. It was good. I got buttermilk to go with dinner cause Jamey likes to put his cornbread in buttermilk and eat it! Can I get a Mr. Yuck face for that one? I know I have weird tastes, but that is not weird it's yucky! Jamey seems to love it though. Southerners! :~)
Tonight the new Harry Potter book comes out and Jamey and I are going to go get it. We'll be up for a while since the book won't be available till midnight. This weekend I'll see if I can't go to Hancock Fabrics and maybe get a skirt pattern so I can make a suit out of some fabric Jamey's mom gave me, since Jamey will be reading that book until he's finished with it. I would like to do some sewing with that new sewing table I got.
Do you like the background of my blog? I picked out the pattern and Jamey fixed it so it would be the background. I think it turned out rather nice! :~)
Well that's all I got this time... I got some sugar yesterday and might make some cookies. Sounds like a good idea! :~p

They came, they saw, they left... Part ll
Ok, so I had to put this in two parts cause I was somewhat out of it when they left. However, I am better now and am ready to do this...
Friday they got here late. We stayed up late talking to them... I think we went to bed about 3am.
They slept in on Sat., and when they got up I made them waffles! :~) After that Jamey and Danny watched some old cartoons that took them back to their childhood. There was a ball game at 6pm that night, so we decided to go to that. Before the game Jamey took them sight seeing a little and went to a game store. Danny and Jamey liked that and Sarah and I just talked. This was Sarah's first live ball game. The Redbirds did not disappoint... They lost like they usually do when I go to see them. But we all had fun. After the game, to avoid a lot of the people going back to their cars, we ducked into the Peabody Hotel and went to the roof. Not only is that a magnificent view, but they have ducks up there. Sometimes they let the ducks out to wander the Hotel. When we got home it was late so we went to bed cause we had to get up early to go to church.
Sunday after church we went out to eat with this other couple who also met on the Church of Christ Singles. We ate at an Italian restaurant with great food and got stuffed! :~) We went home and took a nap before going to see Transformers. That movie is the best if you like a lot of action and great special effects. We got out of the movie too late to go to night church, so we did like anybody else does when they skip church... we went to the putt-putt range! ;~) First we broke our arms swinging at balls in the batting cages, then we did the mini-golf. I'm not the worst at that sport, but I'm not going to make anyone look bad at it either. Because I didn't have anything planned for supper (I'm not that good at this yet) we went out for pizza.
Monday Jamey took it off. That was nice... After we all got up and showered we went to see what we could find in the way of clothing at the GoodWill. I found a couple of dresses, but the biggest shocker came in the form of Sarah's wedding dress. She went to see if they had any and low and behold they had one just her style and size!! It needs a bit of cleaning and fixing at the top, but it's perfect! You can't beat the price either. It was marked at $70.00, but the cashier thought that was too much so she gave it to them for $20! :~O We decided to go celebrate at Arby's. After that we went for frozen yogurt at TCBY. As we were getting in our car, some guy comes up to us and waves something that he wants to give to Jamey. Turns out they are tickets to go see a special screening of Harry Potter. How often does that happen, huh? Jamey and Danny wanted to go see that movie anyway and this way we all could see it for free!
Tuesday Jamey took half a day and we all went to the zoo. It was fine for the first half, then it started to sprinkle. It down poured not long after it started sprinkling, so we got wet. Since Jamey used to work at the zoo, he took us around and we didn't have to look at a map. After getting soaked we went home, changed clothes and watched Die Hard.
Wednesday, we didn't do much except hang out, went to church and watched another movie.
Thursday I hung with Danny and Sarah and after Jamey came home we went to the Red Sun Buffet. My favorite Chinese restaurant. That place is conveniently located close to the mall. :~) Danny, Sarah, Jamey and I all went to the mall with the intent of finding shoes to go with Sarah's wedding dress. We didn't find any shoes, but we had a good time browsing the shops. Danny got cookies and Jamey got a Transformers steering wheel cover. We watched yet another movie when we got back from shopping.
Friday Sarah and Danny left.
Sat. was our VBS. It only lasted one day, but it was fun. Jamey and Kayla (a really sweet girl) did puppets and I helped with crafts. I think that is where I have always been when I have helped with VBS in the past. Hmm... maybe I look like a crafty person. :~) Jamey and I just relaxed after that.
Sunday after church we went out for lunch with a group from church, went home and took a nap and went back for evening church. The church was having a going away party after service for a couple that are moving to Nashville. So of course we stayed for that.
Today I've been a slug. I haven't done that much with the house, but I plan to as soon as I get done with this. I have to say I love sugar! I made myself some brownies with the sugar Sarah left. Yummy! :~p I think I'll keep some real sugar on hand so I can make myself some comfort food every now and then. The only problem is that I have to eat all the brownies. I can't give any to Jamey! Hmmm... maybe that isn't a problem! :~) Oh well, time to actually go do something...

They came, they saw, they left...
This is just a short post, cause I have to go do some things like clean up the house and cook dinner. Having Sarah over was fun! We get along much better now that we don't live under the same roof. We probably won't see each other again until Sarah's wedding... Wow, my sister is getting married in 3 months and I've been married now for almost 5 months. Hmm... just a little reverie of how things were less than a year ago... Neither one of us had anyone and if someone would have told us where we would be now, we would have laughed them out the door! :~)
Tomorrow is VBS at our church, so that should be fun. For some reason it's only one day. Go figure. I still have to shower, how lazy is that? :~)
Look for a post on Monday. I still have to recover from the visit, but should be posting like normal next week... :~)

My decorating skills... Hmmm...
Ok, I know I'm not the best decorator in the whole world, but I'd like to think that at least I can decorate without the after affect of people having nightmares about my work. :~) Well, my sister will have to be the judge about that, after all she will be sleeping in that room... I'm very proud of my sewing/guest room. Jamey seems to like it too. I think after I got done and asked him to come see it, he was a little shocked that it looked alright. Well, you can judge for yourself... The first photo is when you first walk in the door. The second shot is of the TV and sewing table that my Father-in-Law fixed up for me, and the third one is of my 1950s machine (it's closed cause I couldn't fit it in opened, trust me I tried) my writing desk and my dresser. The last shot is of the pics on the dresser next to the book shelf.
There you go my skills at work... scary isn't it? Speaking about skills the skill of putting gas in the car is one that has eluded me until now! Yes, I can fill my car with gas! However, the lady that helped me with this process is probably still laughing about it.
Yesterday I took Jamey to work so I could have the car for class and to go shopping afterward. The gas gauge was low, so I kept an eye on it. I had to go to Kroger after class so I decided to get gas then. I pre-paid for my gas so I wouldn't have to watch it and over fill. I got some money off on the gas cause I had my Kroger card. Anyway, after all that happened I put the nozzle in my tank and squeezed. And squeezed again, nothing came out, so naturally I kept squeezing for about two minutes until I decided there was something wrong with either the machine or me. Turns out the problem was between my ears! :~) I go up to the lady that sits and watches to make sure you pay and told her my dilemma. She looked at me and said "Did you punch which gas you wanted?". Of course I hadn't, so I went back and punched in the cheap gas and then squeezed the handle and it actually worked!! :~) Everyone by now knows that I didn't have a clue how to do this and they were very gracious and waited till I was gone to break into fits of laughter. Ahh, life's little speed bumps! Now that I have mastered that art, I will let Jamey do it from now on! ;~)
The 4th of July was a lazy day for the Dickeys. Ok, so it wasn't such a lazy day. We stayed home and did some cleaning and preparing for Sarah to come. We moved that furniture up stairs which about wiped me out. That stuff is heavier than it looks! I also did most of my decorating Wed. But that was fun... at least for me. Now I have a room where I can sew and relax.
Tuesday Jamey and I went to a Forth of July celebration in Collierville. Dani McCulloch was doing a concert there, so we had to go. It was a fantastic evening. The concert was terrific and the fireworks after were the best I've ever seen live. I've seen the ones on TV before, but I was right there for these so it was better. After the concert Dani's dad took us over to see Dani and talk to her for a while. That was neat, she is the sweetest person. The whole town showed up for this, so it was a bear trying to get out when it was over.
Jason finally left on Tues. He was able to borrow one of the preacher's cars, so he could go back to Germantown. It was different this time having him here, cause last time it was still sorta his house. This time it was mine. We let him stay for a little more than a week, so I think that was enough time.
Monday, we went to see Transformers! That movie is really good. I was impressed. It had a lot of action in it and the way they transformed the machines into robots was really cool! :~) I want to see it again and we might go watch it with Sarah and Danny when they come, even though they've already seen it too.
I'd better go and get the rest of my cleaning done before I drop. I'm really tired right now, I can't handle going to bed at midnight and getting up at 7am without a nap. I can't begin to think of how Jamey does this every day. I can't handle it for two days let alone for a week! :~)
I'm not sure if I will post anything while Sarah is here... It depends on how busy we'll be. :~)

Reality check! : - }
Goodness where do I begin? Well, Fri. Jamey went to work an hour early so he could get off early and we could beat the 5 o'clock rush. We got going about 4:30 and were about to Jackson, an hour away from us, when we got hit by a giant rain storm. Jamey usually goes the speed limit, which is 70 out here, but that rain took him down to driving about 45 if not slower. We also had to put our hazard lights on so the people behind us could see the car. We drove in those conditions for about an hour before it cleared. The only other time I've seen it rain that bad was when my family and I were going out to Ohio one year. After that it was a pretty boring drive. We got to Nashville about 7pm and got to the restaurant about 8pm. There were a couple stars there already, but none of whom I knew. About 8:30 Heather Cox from season 5 showed up and came over to Jamey and me and introduced herself. She was the only Idol that showed up for that party. The other stars that were there were from Big Brother and Gilligan's Island... We ended up sitting at the table with the Canadian filmmakers and a guy named Tennessee Edwards. Tennessee is a producer and produces the Ultimate Fighter. He was a really nice guy and kinda attached himself to us for the weekend, mostly because we were one of the only people other than the Idols that weren't drinking. There was one guy that definitely stood out... Howie Gordon from Big Brother. He has almost no tact when it comes to pretty girls. Heather Cox was talking to us and he came over and mentioned what a rockin' bod she had. Heather was ever a lady and just smiled and talked politely to him. He was going to be one of the interesting ones on this trip.
About 9:30 we headed over to another party hosted by the people that were sponsoring the convention this year. That party was a little more rowdy, cause there was more beer and the ones that were drinking at the other party were sauced already and drinking more at this party. We didn't stay long at that one, cause we had to go find John's house. That's who we stayed with this weekend. He's an old college friend of Jamey's and a super nice guy.
Sat. I woke up about 4:30am. Not because I wanted to, but because the bed was too soft and I couldn't sleep on it. We started to the convention and stopped at a Jack-in-the Box for breakfast. I thought my nails looked nice and the lady at the window thought they looked nice too. At least I thought she was a lady... :~O After we got out of the drive thru, I mentioned that was nice that the lady liked my nails. Jamey then informed me that was no lady, he had back hair! EWWWW!!!! Does this mean my nails are gay? Hmmmm... Anyway, after that frightening experience we showed up at the convention. We got there about 8am and practically no one was there. Scott Savol's people showed up first. Then Dani McCulloch from season 6 showed up. She is just adorable! Very friendly and very talented. After she showed Heather came. Dani, Heather and I kinda bonded through out the day Sat. Will Makar didn't get there until about an hour after it started, cause he wasn't feeling well. One thing I want to say... how hard is it to tell the person in charge that you can't make it? Heather Piccinini, the Maynard triplets and all but one of the Nashville stars didn't show. That was just from our booth with the musical people... there were a whole bunch that didn't show for this event. But the ones that did made it worth our while. They weren't all there when it was supposed to start either. All of the stars trickled in from 10am to noon. I felt sorry for the people that came early to see their stars, cause most weren't there at that time. About 1pm Perla Meneses showed up. She was a little on the diva side, so I didn't get to know her as well. All but one of the panel discussions were canceled for Sat., cause there weren't enough people to do all of them.
A couple of the people we met included the guy from American Inventor, who invented a shovel that with one scoop would fill a sandbag. He was cool. The other one that we couldn't help but notice was Jonny Fairplay. He is from Survivor and the worst alcoholic in the group. He showed up at 10am Sat. with a beer in hand. Nice! Then there was Howie again. He kept wanting to sing all day and annoyed the crap out of me.
Saturday night was the concert. The place the concert was being held I guess was famous, but all it looked like to me was a small bar and an even smaller stage. I felt so sorry for the Idols. They were upset that it was so small and even more upset when we had to go looking for a mike so they could sing! That and the acoustics were terrible! Jamey had to run a manual karaoke machine and the speakers that the sound was supposed to come out so the Idols could hear it on stage were broken! However they were very professional and performed like the stars they are. Boy can those Idols sing! Dani was the best of the night, but they all have excellent voices. Jamey was in heaven, cause he got to not only run the sound he also got to introduce the singers. Oh, did I mention they had no air conditioning there? Yep, we were all sweating our butts off. Howie was there and being loud and obnoxious. Jonny Fairplay was there also. He had started drinking that morning, so he was completely wasted by this time. He got out of control when Jewels Hanson of Nashville Star sang, and was dancing like a stripper to Scott Savol's songs. Scott gave Johnny death stares through out the performance. As soon as the songs were over the Idols and Jamey and I left. We went back to John's house and talked to him and his wife for a while before going to bed.
Sunday was a little easier, cause we got more sleep. We got there about 9:30am this time, and waited for Jon Peter Lewis from season 3 to show up. Jon and Rupert from Survivor were only there for Sun., so there was kinda a crowd for them. Heather told us Sat. that she would be there for the panel discussion, but that she needed her rest. Dani had to be somewhere Sun. for school. So a few of the stars that were there for Sat. weren't there for Sun., including Scott and Perla. I'm not sure why Scott wasn't there, but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't show because of the situation Sat. night. Jon Peter Lewis was the only one there for Sunday. Heather came for the discussion, but they had cancelled those for Sunday and so she left. She had somewhere else to be. Will wasn't feeling well so he didn't show up Sunday either. Rupert had a long line of people for a while, and Big Brother was a draw all weekend. The only one that I was really interested in at all other than Idols was Rupert. He looked goofy and he won Survivor, so I had to get my picture with him. If it hadn't been for Jamey they wouldn't have had any Idols Sun., and only two Sat. Only one of Jamey's didn't show and that was Heather Piccinini. Jon stayed till about 3pm, then left. He's a really great guy. We left right after he did.
On the way home from the convention we went to the church in Jackson where Jamey's college friend goes and got to visit with him and his family.
I've never been so happy to see home! :~) I had a good time, but it's good to be home. Now I just have to clean before Sarah and Danny get here! :~p
